The Darkness Singer Shaken By Death Threat

Justin Hawkins, lead singer of The Darkness, has received a death threat following his bands big night at The Brit Awards. According to the Associated Press, the threat came in the form of a handwritten letter, which the police are now checking for fingerprints. Hawkins, the true rock start that he is, called the threats flattering but added that it?s also scary.

In order to save family and friends from further distress, no one from the band has commented further on the matter. Security for Hawkins and the other members has been upped as police continue to investigate.

i hate to say it but this sounds like a publicity stunt...heard of this one before about many many bands in the past and usually this early in a label career signals "publicity"

of course if i am wrong i will eat my own words. i plan on meeting up with the guys when they come stateside (i am pretty good at that!) so i guess we'll see!

well i personally really like the band. I think that they are very talented muscians and don't deserve the slagging off they seem to be getting all the time.
